Dr. Ramesh Agarwal was born in a small village of U.P. near Kanpur.

He completed his basic schooling from Mhow

He did his MBBS from the 1st batch of King Edward Medical School, Indore and DOMS from MGM Medical College, Indore.

He practiced in Mhow and then in Indore.

He was an excellent intra capsular surgeon and a comprehensive ophthalmologist.

He went to Holland to get IOL training in 1978-79 from Dr Japing.

He was member MPSOS, NSPB Delhi and other medical associations

He was a successful ophthalmologist of Central India having his contemporaries as Dr R.K. Mishra , Prof M.C. Nahata,Dr Mahashabde and Dr B. Shukla. He had stalwart teachers like Dr G.S. Wagle, Dr S.K. Mukherjee and Dr R.P. Dhanda.

He was District Governor of District 304 of Rotary International in the year 1972-73. He served the rural community through his profession. His wife Mrs. Krishna Agarwal was a renowned social worker of M.P.

Dr Ramesh Agarwal was known for his simplicity, purity of heart ,soft spookiness ever smiling charming personality. His contribution to the social field particularly for Rotary International and for service to the society especially for the poor and downtrodden is exemplary. He had a remarkable memory in remembering names and left an life time impression on every body he met, even an unknown person.

He was a music lover and a great fan of legendary Lata Mangeshkar.

Simple living and love for all can truly describe his personality .
